Established on 15 February 1952, Banshihari High School stands as a beacon of learning and tradition in Dakshin Dinajpur, gracefully located on the bank of the Tangan River. As a leading Bengali-medium institution, the school introduced Secondary education in 1960 and was elevated to the status of a Higher Secondary (10+2) School in 1980.
Affiliated with WBBSE and WBCHSE, the institution has consistently upheld high academic standards. Over the decades, its students have regularly secured top ranks and outstanding results in the Madhyamik and Higher Secondary examinations, bringing honour and recognition to the school and the region.
